Create Graphs using the built in editor.

Just click the mouse and drag to create nodes, and click in a node and drag to create a link.

Graphical styles are easily set using the graphical properties side panel, which can be hidden when you don't need it.

And edit the node and link properties in the left side panel, which can also be hidden when you don't need it.
