Maxivista is an excellent application for using a 2nd (or 3rd) laptop as a spare monitor, and you can remote control both (or all 3) machines from the same keyboard and mouse. Fantastic.

Because this was posted on the Perl GUI Test Yahoo Mailing list I was expecting the information to just be Win32 focussed but this is a really good succinct introduction to Perl for testers. Covering the ::simple and ::more test frameworks, command line execution, web testing, database testing and finally Win32 testing. A very good resource to bookmark or download as pdf.
